Having Sam at the house I grew up in is fun!  We have spent time childproofing and making it baby friendly.  My crib from childhood is set up for Sam.  It looks great for being 31 years old. Gpa was sweet enough to buy cool "car' bedding and clean it all up!  We feel right at home!  Thanks for all your help, and making us feel so comfortable.  

Meeting GAS & GUM

Today has been a busy day!!  We have been running ALL over the place.  Tonight we were lucky enough to have dinner with Great Aunt Sherie (GAS) and Great Uncle Mike (GUM). Sam was all smiles and really warmed to them.   You can tell they have a way with kids...  Sam is so lucky to have them in his life....as are we!!!  See you on the Fourth of July....We love you!!

My New Friend Sofia

Today we got to spend some time with Baby Sofia.

Kasey just had her last week.  She's so tiny & beautiful.

It's amazing to look at the difference 6 weeks makes in 

development.  Sam looks so big~!  We had a great day

just hanging out, and we hope to be able to do it more

often :)  Kasey & Danny are doing such a great job!  We love you guys!

Hi...I just wanted to let you know how much I miss you. Mom's doing good stuff, but it's

just not the same without you.  I can't wait for you to get here on Thursday!  We are both

My FIrst Flight

May 26th

Yesterday I took my first flight...thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Hyman for their help!!  The flight was a piece of cake. I slept for 2 hours and hung out for the last hour.  Ohio...here I come!

Ready for the beach...

Thanks to Amanda for getting Sam his first speedo!!  I figure you can only get away with putting them into a speedo when they are weeks old.  Otherwise they will surely object.  Love it!!!

Never too early

This "parenting" thing is all about trial and error.  We learned yesterday that a little Desitin goes a LONG way!!  Live and learn :)

Sam's 1st Photo Shoot

As a shower gift Kari Phillips was generous enough to get us a sitting with a photographer.  The pix turned out amazing!!!!  This was a favorite!! Thanks Kari!!!

Uncle Matt, Amanda & Skiver Family Visit.

Aunt Tonia,  Mana Cathy and  Aunt Laura flew in on Friday ! We had a cook-out here on Friday night.  Saturday we explored the Biltmore Hotel, and Saturday night the "girls" were nice enough to watch Sam for the night!!  That allowed us to go to a nice dinner.  It was strange to leave Sam, but also very nice to be able to enjoy an "adult" dinner with my brother.  We appreciated the chance to have a delicious steak at City Hall.  Thank you ladies!

This Mother's Day weekend was very special this year. We were lucky enough to have lots of family come for the weekend.  Matt flew in Thursday night...it was so fun to introduce him to Sam.  He was a natural and fell in love right away. Sam is lucky to have you as his Uncle!!!

Sam's Birth Video..

When Tonia was in town, last weekend, she helped us figure out how to make a picture montage with a song.  Thanks Tonia.  See below.  This is a chronicle of Sam's first few days in this world. It's truly amazing how much he has changed in just the past few weeks.  I am glad we are continuing to snap thousands of pictures and videos. Gotta love modern technology.

I love this video...because it includes a look at how Sam has changed from Day 1....and I don't have to upload each and every picture.

Last night we got some recent video of Sam.  He was a little unsure of the camera!!  Grandma & Grandpa Hyman are coming this Thursday and he wanted to say "hi".  Since Mom just learned how to use this....She will be sure to post often!! What a neat site.  We can't wait to share all the "little" moments with family and friends.
