5  1/2 Months & Counting

It seems like Sam can't wait to do soo many things.  He is very aware of his environment & really seems to want more of his independence.  He is getting much stronger and seeming like sitting/crawling may be on it's way!  He is sleeping like a champ and we are for the first time in a LONG time feeling somewhat rested :) Amen!!

This age is so much fun and we are just enjoying each day....careful to not wish any of this away to quickly!

SAN DIEGO....Again :)

We made it back to SD again this weekend.  This time for Burke's Wedding.  Poor Sam has been getting dragged from coast to coast.  We counted his flights to date...and he's flown 14 times!!!!!  He's also had his feet dipped in both oceans (which is kind of cool??).  The weather was beautiful (of course) and we had a wonderful time at the wedding & reception!  Thanks to Laura & Al, Sam was well taken care of & we could enjoy the festivities.

Under the Weather...

We came back from Toledo with a souvenir....Sam's first cold!  He has been coughing, sneezing and wheezing all week long!  Good for his immune system I guess.  He is hilarious when he coughs.  He kind of looks at you with a very confused expression!?! Like "What is this strange noise I'm making".   He is on the mend, but now Justin and I both have it!  Guess it's just making it's rounds!!!

FUN TIMES....  

So finally Sam & Sofia were actually aware of one another.  They held hands at one point, and made each other cry at another.   I think I realized that twins would be a REALLY difficult feat.  Kasey and I are sure that they "Love" each other :)  How fun that they are healthy, happy and everything we imagined!!!  Love the Babes!

This past weekend Liz & Jesse got married in P-burg  (about time :)  We were so happy to be a part of the festivities...and had more than a GREAT time!  We are so happy for them and know their marriage will be full of fun, giggles, adventure and lots of love.  Congrats Liz & Jesse.  Hope you are enjoying Hawaii!!!!  We Love you guys....

Tonia, Laura, Cathy, Ellie & Steve for watching Sam both nights!!  The wedding was wonderful and it was so nice to know that Sam was well taken care of!  It felt great to unwind and enjoy.  We REALLY appreciate you!!!

Cousin Love

All of Sam's "Big" cousins were there to spend time with him this weekend.  Kate & Brett drove all the way down from Kalamazoo. He is sooo lucky to have such sweet, fun & loving cousins!  I can tell by the look in his eyes that he can't wait to play with them!!  It won't be long.....

Grandma & Grandpa

Since we were home for Liz's wedding this past weekend...we were also able to spend time with the family. We visited Grandpa Hyman at work, and enjoyed an afternoon walk with Grandma!  The weather was beautiful on Thursday afternoon...

RICE CEREAL

I have tried and tried to upload the video of Sam trying Rice Cereal for the first time~!!!  It is soo cute!  But of course it won't work.  So I took some pictures instead!  With a couple of weeks now,  he is a pro...  When he sees the spoon he starts flailing and trying to grab it!  Looks like he is going to have no problem being a healthy eater!!! Wonder where he gets that from???

COOL DUDE...

As the temps. are starting to go down here in the desert, we are now able to enjoy the pool more often.  Sam loves to splash and watch Justin act silly.  He is bound to be a water baby....
